Fernando Martinez is a New York based musician and composer. Starting out on upright and electric bass during his high school years, he picked up a cheap electric guitar and started playing in a few rock and hardcore bands around Long Island and New York City. What once started as simply working out fun riffs to play with friends, grew into a fondness for collaboration, songwriting, sonic textures and a love for anything that makes noise.

Over the years, Fernando has had collaborations featured at the Tribeca Film Festival, Hot Docs, New York Times, New York Latino Film Festival and others. In 2021, he and longtime friend Ryan Richardson remotely collaborated on an album under the name PANIC CULTS,  written and recorded during the COVID lockdown.
